Sony Ericsson has released their first walkman phone W42S for Japan’s KDDI telco. It features a whopping 1 GB internal memory built-in, support for memory stick duo up to 4 GB, a jog dial similar to the minidiscman, 2.2 inch 240 by 320, 262K color screen and FM receives. You can transfer the music files from your pc to the phone via usb cradle and SonicStage software. The included music player support music formats like ATRAC3plus, ATRAC3, WAV, MP3, WMA and AAC. Sony Ericsson is going to release the W44S multimedia cell phone exclusive ly to the Japan market via Au KDDI. This cell phone boasts one-seg digital TV broadcast, digital radio, and a large 3-inch colors display with a resolution of 240 x 432 and Bravia RealityMax technology. Supporting CDMA Ev-DO network, the handset also comes with Felica module that allows contactless payment service for transport, shopping and credit card. It seems that the Sony Ericsson will soon release K620i phone, at just 17mm thick, the handset will be equipped with a 1.9-inch 262K colors 176×220 LCD display, a 100MB onboard memory, and a cool 3.2-megapixel camera module with video recording capability.
