Samsung Unveils Ultra SGH-Z720 Cell Phone

Samsung Electronics has just released the new member of its popular Ultra Edition 13.8 cell phone, the SGH-Z720. With just 13.8mm thicks, this is the slimmest sliding handset with HSDPA connectivity. The HSDPA itself, or High-Speed Downlink Packet Access, allows users to enjoy lightning-fast transmission speeds — up to 1.8Mbps — for accessing the internet, streaming multimedia content, playing multiplayer games, and much more.

Samsung SCH-V960 Cell Phone With Optical Joystick

Recently, Samsung launched a cell phone with full of innovative features, the SCH-V960 model. First, it incorporated a cool ‘Optical Joystick’ function which automatically detect the movement of your finger on the sensor and use it to control the cursor on the screen. The screen itself is called MyScreen, and it comes with PC-style iconic interface. Users can simply navigate through the menu by moving the cursor around and clicking on the icon. Other highlighted feature is the ‘Smart Lighting’ which, through an illumination sensor, automatically control the brightness of the screen and keypad. Samsung Brings F300 and F500 Ultra Cell Phone To CES 2007

Recently at the ITU 2006 event, Samsung’s brings the Ultra Music F300 and Ultra Video F500 cell phone have made their way to CES 2007. Each handset comes with a specific functionalities, backed up by impressive specs. The F300 for example, boasts its music playback capabilities with the built-in digital power amplifier and easy-to-navigate user interface. One can listen to their MP3 collection (other popular audio formats are supported), as well as tune in to their favourite radio station, thanks to the built-in FM radio tuner. Samsung has just announced its new DMB phone, the SPH-B5800. This slider-mechanism handset offers an integrated 2.0 megapixel camera module and MP3 player. Not sure how much storage you got onboard, but at least there’s a microSD card slot provided, as well as Bluetooth support for transferring the pictures and audio files to/from other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Samsung recently unveiled three new Ultra cell phones at the ITU Telecom World 2006 event in Hongkong - the Ultra Messaging i600, Ultra Video F500, and Ultra Music F300. Let’s start with the Ultra Video F500 handset. This phone doesn’t carry the name of “video” for nothing. It is the world’s first mobile phone that has built-in support for DivX codex, along with MPEG-4, H.264, WMV, and AVI media formats. Samsung recently unveiled three new Ultra cell phones at the ITU Telecom World 2006 event in Hongkong - the Ultra Messaging i600, Ultra Video F500, and Ultra Music F300. The F300 music phone boasts a digital power amplifier and an intuitive easy-to-navigate user interface for its built-in audio player. Not sure how much onboard memory will it carry, but as an alternative, there’s always a built-in FM radio tuner, so you can tune-in your favourite station anytime you get bored with your music collection. Furthermore, the Quick PC Sync feature will allow users to create their own music library and playlist, while its powerful battery is promised to deliver an all night long of entertainment.

Boasts as the first 3G smartphone with support for HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access), the slim — just 11.8mm thick — i600 handset offers a QWERTY keyboard layout for convenient message typing. Runs on Windows Mobile 5.0, it is pre-loaded with several handy apps, such as Pocket Office, Windows Media Player 10, image / PDS viewer, Push Email technology, podcasting, and RSS reader. Of course, being a 3G phone, it is equipped with two cameras, one with 1.3 megapixel at the back, and other with VGA resolution at the front side for video conferencing purpose.
